Award winning parish councillor
Kevin Glogner became a Hormead Parish Councillor in spring of 2018 and for the last two years he has supported parishioners when they have needed help as well as making ongoing improvements to the local Meads recreational ground for everyone in the parish to enjoy especially during what has been a very difficult and challenging year.
We are delighted to announce in recognising of Kevin’s hard work and dedication he has been awarded the “Peterkin Award” in the CPRE Hertfordshire Awards 2020. You can view the presentation on this link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=4X4drwgdbDo
Kevin would like to thank Diane George for nominating him for the award. He would also like to thank his fellow councillors on the Hormead Parish council, the Newsletter team for their ongoing support and all of the parishioners who have taken part in events such as the daffodil planting day.
“I have been very touched by the many kind messages and cards I have received from those who have noticed my efforts and I hope to continue in the future to make additional improvements throughout the parish for the benefit of all”
