Neighbourhood Plan

The Buntingford Community Area Neighbourhood Plan (BCANP) read here was overwhelmingly approved at the referendum held on 23 March 2017.

The result was

Yes 1268 94%
No 82 6%
Turnout 22.3%

The ballot count was the total for Buntingford and all participating parishes; it was not broken down into individual parishes.

The new 2018 East Herts District Plan was formally adopted by East Herts Council at an Extraordinary Meeting on 23 October 2018.

We produced a simple questionnaire to find out what everyone wanted the Plan to include.  It was very important that the views of everyone in the house (not just grown-ups) were taken into account.  So a big Thank You to everyone who took the time to complete the questionnaire.
